About Me

I specialize in helping adults navigate debilitating fear, anxiety, and emotional distress associated with substance use addiction, anxiety, cancer, depression, grief, trauma and PTSD. Grounded in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), my work is client-centered and strengths-focused. I support clients with regulating emotions, and creating changes that feel sustainable and authentic. If you’re facing a life transition, coping with loss, dealing with a cancer diagnosis or needing to dissolve the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, therapy can provide space for clarity, emotional processing, and deeper connection with yourself and those around you.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and over 30 years of experience in private practice, including 20 years working in residential treatment at Orchard Recovery Centre on Bowen Island. I bring a depth of practical expertise alongside compassionate support to help individuals navigate recovery and meaningful change.

I currently provide telephone or secure online video counselling through Zoom Healthcare.

For self-care, I enjoy singing, playing the Ukrainian bandura, pilates, qigong and taking walks with my dog Nootka.
